UNC Lineberger is standing up to cancer by:
- partnering with communities and health care professionals to increase screening and promote prevention strategies,
- translating the best laboratory science into new treatments and developing clinical trials of novel therapies,
- creating new programs to improve and sustain the lives of cancer survivors, and
- working with scientists across North Carolina, across the country and around the world to find cancer's causes and to learn how to detect cancer sooner and treat it more effectively.
